We don't fund ideas.
We fund obsession.
The kind that keeps you up at 3am.
The kind that makes you insufferable at dinner parties.
The kind that changes everything.
What We Invest In
This isn't judgment—it's focus. We know what we're good at.

We know what the trenches are like.
We are here to get founders out of sticky situations, with a little magic.
We back founders at pre-seed and take pride in being first money into companies like Varda Space Industries, Wavedash, and ScopeR.I.P..
but not into companies like WithCoverage, Cousin Labs, or Speak.
“They wired money before we even finished our call. No other fund moves like that.”
“When our Series A fell through at 11pm, they had a backup term sheet by 6am. That's not normal.”
“They told us what was broken in our pitch before we even asked. Then they helped us fix it.”
“First check, first call when things got hard, first to double down. That's the fund you want.”

No. We read every cold email. Some of our best investments came from cold outreach. Just send a clear deck to contact@fathers.fund.
Pre-seed only. We want to be your first institutional check. If you've already raised a seed round, we're probably too late.
Initial checks range from $250K to $1M, with up to $3M reserved for follow-on. We target 10-15% ownership.
From first email to term sheet: typically 2-3 weeks. We've done it in 5 days when the fit is obvious. We don't believe in dragging founders through months of meetings.
Problem, solution, market size, traction (if any), team, and ask. 10 slides max. No 50-page appendices. We have a template in our resources section.
Yes, we lead or co-lead most of our deals. We're not looking to fill party rounds—we want to be a meaningful partner.
Monthly check-ins (not status updates—actual problem-solving). Access to our network of operators. Help with hiring, fundraising, and the hard decisions. We answer calls at 2am.
We'll tell you why. Specific feedback, not corporate non-answers. Some founders we've passed on have come back with improvements and gotten funded. We respect the hustle.
